“Pretty stoked. Probably the most excited I’ve ever been to get Pole. It feels like it’s been a bit of a tough year trying to get a pole, so it was, it was bloody cool. We’re hauling ass out there. You have the excitement levels heading into tomorrow. Yeah, they’re excited. I think, you know, qualifying sixth, I wanted to be, even further up the front and in the shootout, I was hoping that I could do that and to go from six to pole in the shootouts, a massive thing. We want to try to win tomorrow. That’s why everyone’s here. But to start first, you’re giving yourself the best opportunity to win.”

“Mega job by Will. He was really impressive in the final practice and then nailed a great lap in qualifying, in what were tricky conditions with the water patches. The shootout was closer than I probably expected with all that stuff happening. He put a great lap together. And to start pole is a huge relief. There’s been a lot of practice this weekend, so it’s just been waiting to see what happens in that one lap. Hopefully, we’ve got a fast race car, and when I jump in, we can be in a good spot for me to do my part. Hopefully, look after the car, maintain a gap, or at least keep in the lead for us. And eventually, give it to Will in a great spot at the end of the day. But it’s a long race tomorrow – 161 laps. There’s a lot that can happen before then. So, debrief tonight, and make sure we’ve got the best package for tomorrow, but we’re starting in a great spot, to tick a box tomorrow.”

Practice 4 – Second (1:14.5271)
Practice 5 – Fourth (1:13.2723)
Qualifying (Race 19) – First (1:12.8980)
Top Ten Shootout – Fifth (1:10.6535)

“Not extremely pumped to be fifth, considering our day’s been really strong. But we won from there last year and I think we’re going to have a fast race car. Some tricky conditions in the shootout, so congrats to Will in Car #87. I’m really looking forward to tomorrow. It’s hard to tell what kind of pace we could’ve had today. We’ve been fast in both conditions. I think our race car’s going to be good. It was pretty quick last year so we will see how we go. We’re in a good spot, got a great co-driver, and got a great team so should we be good to go.”

“I only did limited laps today, but that’s okay, it was all focused on qualifying. Great team result. Awesome to have both cars in the top ten and then both cars starting in the top five. Couldn’t be happier from a Managing Director’s point of view, I thought we represented well. Tricky conditions. It was one of those qualifying sessions I always loved being in the car for, but it’s one of those sessions where I was quite happy to be in the garage because it looks so difficult out there. But no, we’re in a good place after qualifying, but payday’s tomorrow. We have to make sure we capitalize on a good day like today. Fingers crossed the rain goes away and we have some nice, dry running and go hard for 161 laps.”
