“Today was up and down. I thought we started the day with a really good car, and as the track really evolved, we didn’t follow it as best as the others. But it’s also big credit to the guys for fixing the car after my little touch of the wall in the last practice. Overall, we started our 18th at Sandown, and we came away with a 5th. So, we’ve got 6 hours on Sunday to go and make up some positions. It was just an evolution of the track, as it evolved quite a lot. And as I said, we didn’t follow the evolution. There are some parts of the track I had to tidy up, but I was just happy to bring the car back in one piece.”

“I think we’ve been chasing the car a little bit to the track conditions. I think everyone has, to be honest. I think Cooper got the best out of the car for what we had for qualifying. There might have been a little bit more in him, but all in all, I’m happy where we are. We’re not, unfortunately, in the top ten, which is where our goal was. So that really is a disappointing side of it. But then in hindsight, we can now really focus on a race car for these next two practice sessions, and make sure we’ve got a fast race car come Sunday morning.”
