“We had a great day and was a fantastic recovery from yesterday. We put #87 in the shootout and qualified second which was awesome. The race was pretty wild, I sat behind Brodie (Kostecki) for a long time and couldn’t get close enough to him to have a decent crack, but I’m really happy to have come second. It’s definitely a great points haul going into Adelaide. Broc and I are obviously the last two drivers in contention for the championship, and I’m really excited for the last two races of the year. I have a fairly good lead but you never know what’s going to happen, so my aim is to put my best foot forward there and try to win a few races.”

“It’s a long shot for us to win the championship going into Adelaide, but at the end of the day we’re still in the hunt. I think we’ll go to Adelaide and just have some fun and try to win some races, so I think the pressure is a bit more off now. I’ll go there and do my best, but at the same time I want to learn as much as I can at the last event of the year because next year it’s going to be super important, so it was great to have a solid round here at the Gold Coast, and hopefully we have a solid round at Adelaide and try to get a couple of trophies. It was a good race for both Red Bull Ampol Racing cars to be up the front. We didn’t quite have enough to fight for the win, but it was a great points haul nonetheless.”
