“It’s awesome to be on the podium in Darwin. We’ve had a run of podiums but not many firsts, so we need to try and execute tomorrow. It was a good consolidation of points after qualifying, but I need to get my qualifying and shootout laps a bit better. That’s definitely the focus for tomorrow, generally up here in Darwin if you start up the front, you finish up the front. The team result was obviously awesome. Between Broc, myself and the entire team, everyone’s just doing a fantastic job. Obviously the teams’ championship is going fantastic, and it almost feels like an inter-team battle between Broc and myself with the way the championship is going. Even with Chaz (Mostert), he did an awesome job to get from 23rd to fifth and consolidate points, so there were a lot of people out there who had a good day.”
“It’s awesome to be back on the winners list in Darwin. I had quite a bit of confidence coming here, and last round certainly wasn’t great for us, so to bounce back like that with a good shootout and today’s result is awesome. The margins are obviously super close all the way through the field, but to be in the fight all day and secure the win where we could pull a big margin was very satisfying for the team. Very shortly we’re going to forget about it and focus on doing it all again tomorrow. Qualifying is going to be super important tomorrow. We showed in the shootout that our speed is certainly there. I didn’t do the greatest in the shootout so I think we have the potential in a qualifying car, and obviously our race pace is really good out the front.”
